Care Instructions
Rest Weave™ — how to care for it
Linen-cotton improves with washing. The more you wash it, the softer and more breathable it becomes. These instructions are designed to protect that performance over time.
| Before first use | Wash before use. This softens the fabric and removes any finishing residue from manufacturing |
| Machine wash | Cold or warm, maximum 40°C. Gentle cycle. Wash with similar colours. |
| Detergent | Mild detergent only. Harsh detergents strip the natural fibre properties over time. |
| Bleach | Do not bleach |
| Drying | Tumble dry low, or line dry in the shade. Direct sunlight will fade the colour over time. |
| Ironing | Warm iron if needed. Linen is naturally textured — a little relaxed movement in the fabric is part of what it is. |
| Dry cleaning | Do not dry clean. |
A natural fibre blend, engineered for year-round comfort. Better sleep, every night.

Returns
We stand behind what we make. If an item arrives faulty or we've sent you the wrong thing, we'll sort it with a full return or exchange, just get in touch and we'll take care of it.
Once bedding has been slept in, we're unable to accept general returns or exchanges for hygiene reasons. This is standard across bedding brands and we think it's the right policy. If you have any concerns before you open your order, please reach out before use.
Our core sleep bedding is covered separately by the 100 Night Promise: 100 nights to see if it helps your child sleep. If it doesn't, we'll refund you, even after use.
To initiate a return, contact us at support@restwithmino.com with your order number and reason for return. We will take it from there.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrectly sent.
Rest Weave™
The Minó Method® — from research to product
The Minó Method® is our design framework. It organises the research into four pillars, each one translated into specific, measurable product decisions. Not principles. Decisions.
Every Minó product must satisfy all four. If a material choice serves temperature regulation but creates sensory irritation, it does not pass. If a colour is commercially appealing but neurologically stimulating, it does not pass. The framework is not a checklist. It is a filter.

Sleep science
Fabric weight, fill type, weave structure, and construction are chosen based on published research into paediatric thermoregulation and sleep continuity. Every layer is selected to maintain a stable bed microclimate from lights out to morning.

Sensory wellbeing
Children have more touch receptors relative to body size than adults. Tagless construction, natural fibres, low-noise weave, and seam placement are specified to reduce the tactile and auditory stimulation that competes with sleep onset in a child’s still-developing nervous system.

Colour psychology
Palette is selected based on neurological arousal research, not trend. Minó colours are chosen for low reflectance, desaturation, and their documented effect on heart rate and visual cortex activity in children. Pattern complexity is kept below the threshold that extends cognitive engagement at bedtime.

Emotional balance
Weight, texture, and product design incorporate research on felt security, transitional objects, and the cortisol-melatonin relationship at bedtime. Construction details — including the hidden pocket inside the duvet cover — are direct responses to developmental psychology findings.
