It's 2am and they've woken for the third time already. You're wondering if this is normal.
It is normal. Even with the white noise machine on and the room at the right temperature, babies wake for reasons that are out of your control. But the sheets are one of the only variables you can control. And most of what's sold as "designed" for a nursery hasn't had to prove it actually helps them sleep.
We built Minó bedding around paediatric research that actually holds up.
So you've got one less thing to audit at 2am.
A more stable temperature, all night
We couldn't find a linen-cotton blend built for how babies and toddlers actually sleep, so we developed our own. Rest Weave™ combines linen's natural airflow with cotton's softness against sensitive skin, holding a more stable temperature through the night than either fabric manages alone.
Stays snug, all night
A sheet that rides up in the night isn't doing its job. We built ours with thick, premium-grade elastic and deep-set sides, so it stays put across every cot size rather than working loose halfway through the night. It's a small, unglamorous detail, but it's the difference between a sheet you never have to think about and one you're readjusting at 3am with a half-asleep baby who's just woken up. We'd rather you didn't notice this section of the product at all. That's the whole point of it.
Tested, not just labelled safe
"Organic" and "natural" get used loosely in nursery bedding. OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 tests the finished product itself against 1,000 harmful substances, not just how the crop was grown. It's the one certification that actually means something, and every piece of Minó bedding carries it.
Chosen to help them settle
Three colour families, chosen for what they do to a developing nervous system, not for what's trending in nursery styling this year. Colour affects mood and settling in ways most nurseries never account for. Ours were chosen on purpose, with a low-stimulation pattern that supports the same aim.
Buy it for the cot. Keep it for the toddler bed.
The move from cot to toddler bed, and out of a sleep suit, can feel like a big leap all at once. One thing that helps is making the change gradually. Introduce a flat sheet first, so your child gets used to the feeling of bedding and being tucked in while they're still safely in the cot. Add a pillow to anchor their head, and a duvet on occasion. Then, when they're ready, the cot side comes down and the sleep suit comes off, and the bedding already feels familiar rather than like one more big change.
Regulating their temperature is still a nightly balancing act.
A baby's temperature-regulating system is still catching up, and now they're moving around enough to overheat mid-sleep. That's part of why safe sleep guidance around overheating still matters well into the toddler years.
Most parents look for cotton or linen, the natural fibres known to be gentlest on a baby's skin. That's where we started too. But through our own research, we learned a linen-cotton blend actually outperforms either fabric alone for a baby's sleep, and nobody was making one built specifically for this stage. So we did. Linen's fibre structure drives airflow and pulls heat away from the body. Cotton keeps it soft enough for newborn skin. Together they hold a more stable temperature through the night than either fabric manages alone.
Rest Weave™ is our linen-cotton blend. Chosen for breathability and thermal regulation. It works with a baby’s physiology rather than against it.
"Organic" isn't the same as safe. I learned that the hard way.
When I was buying bedding for my son, I did what most parents do. I looked for "organic cotton" and assumed that meant it was free from harmful chemicals. It doesn't. Organic refers to how the crop was grown, not what's added to the fabric afterwards.
The certification that actually matters is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. It's the global benchmark for testing textiles against harmful substances, and every piece of Minó bedding carries it. Not because it's a nice-to-have. Because it's the one thing I wish someone had told me before I filled my son's cot with something I assumed was safe.

FAQs
What certification does the fabric carry, and what does it actually mean?
Every piece of Minó bedding is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, the global benchmark for testing textiles against harmful substances. It's a different (and more meaningful) standard than "organic cotton," which only describes how the crop was grown, not what's added afterwards.
How does the linen-cotton fabric actually help with temperature?
Linen's fibre structure drives airflow and pulls heat away from the body, while cotton keeps it soft enough for baby and toddler skin. Together they hold a more stable temperature through the night than either fabric manages alone.
Is it safe for babies with eczema or sensitive skin?
Yes. The linen-cotton weave is soft against the skin from the first wash and gets softer with every one after, with no synthetic finishes or harsh dyes that can aggravate sensitive skin. It's OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, tested against 1,000 harmful substances, so there's nothing hiding in the fabric that could trigger a flare-up.
What size does it fit?
Our cot sheets and duvets are designed to fit all standard cot mattresses. Check the individual product page for exact dimensions before you buy, especially if your cot is an unusual shape or size.
Is it easy to clean?
Yes. Machine wash and machine dry, no special handling needed. The natural fibers continue to soften with washing.
What does the 100 Night Promise cover?
Our core sleep bedding, sheet sets, and duvet covers and inners. It doesn't extend to accessories.
